Lugnano in Teverina is "one of the most beautiful villages in Italy".
The old town, surrounded by medieval walls overlooking a green landscape to the south with the Cimini mountains and the valley of the Tiber.
To visit :
-The Collegiate Church of St. Mary (twelfth century), in the Romanesque style. It contains Cosmati mosaics, a Crucifixion by the Giotto school and the painting of St. John, from the painter school of Livio Agresti from Forlì.
-The Palazzo Farnese-Ridolfi (1600) was built by the cardinals Nicholas Ridolfi and Alessandro Farnese.
